Energy efficiency
Outstanding energy yield
Weishaupt solar collectors use both direct and indirect solar radiation. Four collectors, each 2.5 m2 in area, are needed to support the heating of around 120 m2 of living space. Two collectors will be enough to supply DHW for a three-person household.
Indirect radiation
A multi-layered Mirotherm coating absorbs both direct and diffuse solar radiation for heat recovery
Benefits
Robust construction
The welded aluminium frame is attached to the solar glass with a permanently elastic seal.
Durability
The collector's connections have special expansion joints to compensate for temperature-related expansion and contraction. An essential prerequisite for their durability and reliable operation.
Installation
Flexible use
Weishaupt solar collectors are suitable for supplementing both old and new heating systems. They can be combined with various Weishaupt cylinders: a Weishaupt thermal store (WES 660 or WES 910) for solar support of heating systems, and the bivalent WASol cylinder for solar DHW heating.
Attractive subsidies
Germany's federal, state, and local governments will often support you in purchasing a solar system. You can find out which subsidies might be available to you by looking in the Weishaupt subsidies database or talking to your heating specialist.
